Gretchen Carrougher, NWRBMS coordinator is in Managua, Nicaragua at the APROQUEN pediatric burn center (Vivian Pellas Hospital). Gretchen is working with the nursing (enfermeria) staff in developing nurse competencies for the pediatric burn patient treated at this center. Gretchen has been a visiting educator with this team since 2015 and has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with the entire APROQUEN team.
