Past UW MD and researcher returned to speak at Grand Rounds, updating us on ‘targeting mitochondrial dysfunction to improve outcomes after injury’. Following his presentation, Deja Nicholas BA (4th year medical student and NWRBMS research colleague) presented on ’empowering voices: strategies for including people experiencing homelessness in research’ and Cameron Kneib MD (past NWRBMS research volunteer) presented ‘sleep after discharge: better understanding quality and quantity of sleep for burn patients’.
